Hi Folks,

Doesn't seem like anyone has posted on this yet, I did a search and nothing has come up.

I wandered into Woolies the other day buying something, they are not my normal stop, anyway, the girl asked if I had a rewards card to which I answered no. So she gave me a form.

I didn't even read it, but it somehow ended up on my desk at home rather then in the bin and I had a quick read while I was paying other bills. Looks like they are giving away QFF membership (usually 82 dollars I think).

There are all kinds of earn QFF points this way or that way, don't know if I'll even be bothered reading the convoluted process, but I wasn't a QFF member and the freebie membership seemed genuine. I just tried it out on the web and it seems to have worked.

If you are interested have a look at the various flyers available next time you pass a Woolies store. I've attached scans of the form.

Moo.

PS - Hmm. I can't upload anything... will try later.

This offer has been around for sometime now (since EDR was created last year). The AFF thread was something along the lines of 'Qantas and Woolworths Create Loyalty Program Alliance).

I used it myself to join QFF.

How many people actually pay $82.50 these days to joing what is now more of a 'Frequent Shopper Program' than anything would be interesting to know!

Ahh. I saw that in my search, but as you suggest, it is going back a while and I wasn't sure if this 'freebie' was the same deal.

Fair enough. Thanks for the heads up. Still, for latecomers or people like me who just don't pay attention ;) seems like a worthwhile 82 dollars saved.

Cheers,
Moo

Yep, this deal is as old as the Qantas and Woolworths Alliance. I signed up to QFF several months before the deal was announced and so paid the joining fee.

I also recently joined the QP so missed out on the free QFF membership there but at least I had a corporate membership.
