JQ A320N New Fleet

I was surprised by the number of Jetstar Sydney-Melbourne flights, I had been searching for the 2 digit flight numbers

And off for a late evening MEL-BNE-MEL turn as well.
Can't see anything scheduled for Mon or Tue

Still waiting for a photo of 32BC.

Obviously measuring recline in millimetres now.
Might be some unhappy couples on Bali flights who thought they had scored some good seats.

Oh wow, are these passenger or crew seats?. That is shocking if they are passenger seats!! I would hope that they don't charge for selecting them.

To be fair, short domestic trips, there isn't a need to recline your seat but if someone in row 31 were to recline into you it would make for a very cramped journey.

It seems they block those two seats when going to seat selection.

It looks like an Airbus option the 188 seats , AirAsia/Scoot have kept the 31 rows and 186 seats. Peach and HK Express are two that I see have gone for the 188.

Apparently it’s called an Airbus Max Pax option. Truly horrendous.

Have to agree, for a low cost airline it is very impressive that they have chosen to install these! Leaps JQ ahead of other airlines operating domestically.
In part that's simply because QF management has only been investing in JQ vice QF since Joyce took over.

I think it would have made good sense to send the 320N to Qantas to kickstart the 737 changeover which would enabled them to start that phase now. I don’t think they needed at Jetstar quite yet, they have a fairly young CEO fleet and just got a large dump of new 321N.

A mix of 320N/321N for QF seems ideal to replace the 737s. Instead they are just getting 321XLR are they not?

I was on one of those 25 year old 737s the other day, pretty ordinary inside and it’s a bit sad they keep sending the new toys to the low cost arm, who has already had a significant drop of new equipment recently.

First 321XLR due in April.. and seemingly one roughly every 45 days for a while.

People have previously done the analysis as to why the XLR works better for Qantas even on domestic routes, and its mainly down to additional freight capacity.
