interesting - wonder when some of the Phils LCCs will start looking at DRW and other Aus services.

Will they have any rights to fly PAX between BNE - DRW and PER - DRW?

I didn't even realise JQ flew to Manila. I know QF does SYD-BNE-...

JQ has not done the MNL flights great as they have cancelled flights and then sending them Via SIN then onto MNL.

I will not be surprised if Cebu start down DRW flights.

About time PR came back.

I hope this gives a genuine alternative option, though my dad's been doing alright with others, e.g. MH and CI. I think none of our family has travelled with PR for yonks, and haven't really looked at them as an option.

Cebu Pacific will start getting some A330s later this year. There first destination is set to be Dubai. But Australia always seems to pop up as a potential future destination. Maybe they'll put on a service to the Gold Coast as that seems to be Australia's LCC hub.

Perth did not last long.

@airlineroute: Philippine Airlines to cancel Perth operation from 03SEP13
