Juggling Family Pooling to keep Platinum Status

Agree with this. We will do about 6 swaps with the pooling - and it has allowed us to not waste SCs - I will be at exactly 800 before the final swap or points/SC pooling direction, whereas if we hadn't done the swapping I could have lost anywhere between 15-90 SCs depending which flight eventually would have pushed me over 800.

This way I can now direct all my remaining SCs to my partner for the year which means we should both requalify for platinum. Without this we would have been likely to direct some of the flights to AA on our current US trip instead of DL, and some likely also to QF for domestic.
