Has anyone used Juicy Car Rentals in Australia?

They are offering BNE-CNS with no one way fee, as cheap as $122 over 3 days or $155 over 4.

All of the majors are about $1000 for the same period.

How bad can they be?

Friends have used their vans and never had any issues with them

Nil known concerns - sounds like a bargain.

They are better known for campers but they do also hire cars (usually to younger travellers who often struggle with the majors ie. sub 25yo).

I know nothing about them but I had had a look at trustpilot and they get pretty scathing reviews on there. Of late they have been replying to the reviews with some sort of indication that changes have occurred. A quote from a reply is -

"Hey there, we're terribly sorry that the experience had not lived up to your expectations. JUCY is currently undergoing a transitionary period and understandably there are plenty of room for improvement. We are also in our peak times and our staff are doing their best despite being under the pump."

Rented a car once with them on the Golf Coast and had no issues. Car was fine and staff friendly and helpful.

No personal experience, but there are some good stories about <someone who isn't me> rolling around the back of a JUICY campervan out the back of Cardrona with a careless young lass one winter... Obviously when said someone was much younger and the story has grown in embelishment each subsequent year!

I used them in NZ, took their no fuss insurance, car was broken into, contacted them and they quickly arranged to have a new side window installed on a Sunday late afternoon, dropped back when leaving, no fuss, no charges- I could not recommend them more highly from my NZ experience.

I drove up it 2 days ago...roadworks everywhere.
