Looks like we will be at BKK airport at the same time.

I get into BKK from HKG at 5:30pm. Not sure what time QF2 gets in to BKK, or when it leaves, but it would be nice if we can say hello while you are in transit. I shall be heading out to immigration and I am not sure if BKK is similar to SIN where people in transit and incoming passengers are in the same area.

You used to be able to meet and chat but now they have blocked it all off and you have to show your onward boardign pass and pass through security to gain access. I think ti git changed at the same time they centralised the security just after passport control. I used to go up all the time and use the QF lounge, sweet talk the ladies they always let me in for a refresh.

17th June - MEL Dom can guest 2 (I guess) in J or QC lounge around 9am
17th June - SYD Intl can guest 1 in F lounge. (Do they need to be on same flight???)
24th June - BKK can guest 1 if you are around at 7.30pm

I have a trip to India in early June will advise dates once they are confirmed

I beleive you can only guest into F lounge if they are on same flight as you, is that correct?
Yes that is the case unless you are extremely lucky.

I guested someone once into the SYD F lounge who was on the same flight as me (QF74 to MEL?) and his boarding pass was printed in SIN and was green in colour at the top. The Qantas reception staff member thought that we were on different flights unmtil I pointed them to the same flight number and then proceeded to issue him a new QF boarding pass before allowing him entry into the F lpunge.

Can guest x 1 at each location, although not sure about Concorde lounge.

Hmm. Almost tempted to book myself on the same flight so that *someone* can try to guest me into the Concorde lounge. Haven't been there yet, and want a look-see.

Unfortunately LHR-LAX (I assume this is your flight) isn't on my agenda - and won't be for a while.

I wonder if I book a BA flight around the same time if I can be guested... Must check it out!

If a Qantas Plat, then yes that's the rule. However, if another OW Emerald, then the rules change subtly and should allow entry.

Of course, all this depends on the door staff on the day...

Flying LHR-JFK on BA175. Fairly quick transit on to an AA transcontinental flight to LAX, which explains the absence of JFK on the lounge list.

It is something of a mileage run - never flown BA F or the AA 762 in F (I've done a few international AA F trips), or been into the Concorde Room, so ticking off a few new experiences along the way.

Finally have some flights (might have more soon):
