My first flights on QF since September 2011. I wonder how they'll fare against the service I've been getting with DJ

Hmm as a QF and VA Gold I think you will find the QF experience worse than VA: no priority boarding, no potential for row 3 equivalent, QP. As a WP I think QF might edge it slightly. BNE - ADL is a fairly long flight though.

Hopefully I'll get both PB and row 3 equivalent, as I'm on a JASA. This will be the big test (for me) to see what differences there are between the service offering. I won't compare J cabins as I haven't been in the VA J cabin

I'll be doing a mini SC run in J . Have read mixed things about RJ service, hope we get the good not the bad crew.

TJ, hope you had a pleasant flight.

By the way I was op-up'ed to J The crew knew I was op-upped so in terms of on-board dining/service I was always the last to be asked, I guess it was to ensure other paid passengers had their meals preference met first, which I totally understand. I did enjoy their savuignon blanc wine from Jordan though.

The lead hostess in the long blue dress was the stand out, whilst the rest of her crew were very ordinary to be honest. The cabin decor is pretty fresh and modern, I very liked it. This was my third flight with RJ (all in J) and I have no issues with them at all. It is very interesting that they have on-board (unarmed) security guard present though
