I got the bag when I became Silver back when they started the tier structure. And another one a little while later but can't remember just when or why. I just arrived in the post with a note thanking me for my loyalty.

I also received a leather document wallet a few years later. Not sure if they still give them out. The bags can only be purchased now.
Exactly; back on the old Blue/Silver/Gold days, you got the Bag (no QP) when you attained the lofty hights of Silver (50 flights in a year*).

When you attained Gold (80 flights*) you got the QP and the Leather wallet; a nice size to hold BPs, PP's and a bit more. They have a zippered inner pouch for that left over foreign currency, to use next time.

I am still using my today.... (mini serfty has claimed the bag for when she travel),

(* You cold also qualify on international/domestic distance, but since I was 95% short haul domestic back then I can't recall the levels.)

Should I bug qantas about my GOLD card?

It's been over 2 weeks since I qualified and still have not received it.

My QF Gold pack has a post date 19 days after achieving Gold.

I would give it 3 weeks before calling QF.
