Was at MEL this morning and noticed that the large kiosk checkin area at the LH end of the international checkin area is apparently being prepared for use by SQ; many of the units were displaying SQ logos and appeared to be ready for use. There has been no obvious publicity about this and nothing on the SQ website; has anyone else heard anything? The SQ checkin desk area has been moved to be immediately adjacent to the kiosks.

Well, to answer my own question, kiosk checkin is now indeed in operation at MEL, and the SQ website has been updated to reflect this. The SQ checkin desks have been moved to the area behind the kiosks.
