OT - have done Schipol many times HLO thankfully. It was always under construction and huge so I get what you mean . How did you find TAP? Obv better than KLM from your post!

TAP seemed more efficient and professional. And the Portuguese, surprised how good their English are compared to the Spanish and French people.

For seafood, we went to Cervejaria Ramiro. It was quite OK. Need to order the spider crab.

Hotel, we stayed at Hilton DT Fontana Park. A bit off centre and not overly close to things but quite area though.

Thanks thats great. Really helpful. I usually always book the carrier from depart/arriving country and was tossing up between KLM and TAP as seeing friends in AMS. Sintra tour looks good.
