Has anyone else had problems getting Kogan to post the correct amount of points to their Qantas account?

I took up the offer from 16 June email:

Create an account at Kogan.com and enter your Qantas Frequent Flyer number to earn 3 points per $1 spent^. Plus, shop until 22 June 2015 and you could receive

Spent $240.00 but only received 480 points and bonus has not yet been applied (Ok 8 weeks will take it to 16 Aug, so prepared to wait until then for bonus.)
BUT only received 2 points per dollar spend.

Anyone else now having to try and get someone a Kogan to rectify?

Glad you've posted this as have been looking to buy a monitor from them and would love to know how to not have these problems when it comes to my points. I think you just need to find an email and persist until you get what they have offered.

Hi Sam, firstly when you call there is no extension to " talk to someone" only place an order, chase an order etc. So pressed 2 and finally got to speak to someone.
Got the usual "you need to call Qantas to chase missing points"
Err - no I don't, YOU tell Qantas how many points to post to an account, so YOU need to fix this.
They raised a "ticket" and I received email saying someone would contact within 48? hours.
About an hour later received an another email asking me to supply details of the 3 points per $ spend (as if they knew nothing about it)
Still waiting now for reply.

Had no problems getting my order (printer/hard drive) which is what they do.
Issue is they don't know how to process points to Qantas.

I've not managed to get any points from them. Sigh. One day I'll have time to chase someone.

I guess, if it's new to them, they're going to need to get used to doing it (and perhaps work out the quirks). Luckily AFF members wont let up on them and they'll soon wish we didn't exist... I know Storage King probably feels that way... and don't forget Staples! :p

And finally a reply:
We can confirm that there may have been a slight delay with you receiving the remainder of your points.
Please allow 14 days for the remainder of your points to appear in your account.
If your points have not appeared within this time frame, please let us know and we will escalate your request for you.
Thank you very much for your patience.

And today this little gem:

Hi
I have liaised with our account department in regards to why youhaven't received the frequent flyer points.
Your Kogan.com account does not have your frequent flyer numberlinked and this is why your points have not been received.
The 480 points received were allocated directly from the Qantasshopping mall.
Unfortunately we are unable to now apply the points to yourpurchase, and recommend for you to add your frequent flyer number to yourKogan.com account for future purchases here:
https://www.kogan.com/account/dashboard/account/qantas-frequent-flyers/
Sorry we cannot be of further assistance on this occasion andthank you for choosing to shop with Kogan.com.
Kindest regards,
Does anyone recall the site specifically having a field for your qantas ff number?, because I am beyond doubt that if there was a field for it, I would have supplied it, (know it off by heart)

No there wasn't anywhere to put your QFF number- there were details instructions when it was first announced about making sure you logged in from the qantas mall or something to make sure you got points.

I opened another account (using different email) and at no point was I asked to supply QFF.
After writing back to them last night, received these 3 emails today.

Thank you for your reply.
I am currently escalating your query with the appropriatedepartment to see if I am able to honour the points on this occasion.
As soon as I receive an update I will let you know, however asthe account did not initially have your frequent flyer number linked, this maynot be possible.
Thank you for your patience.
Kindest regards,
Ben

Then this one:

Then finally this one:

Please allow up to 14 days for the points to appear in youraccount.

Hi Everyone,

I did a quick investigation on this. If you have a Kogan profile, you can add your QFF number in. You have to go into the Profile page and off the top of my head its the 4th option down where you can add the QFF number.

In theory (because I haven't tried this yet), you can use the Kogan phone app or website to purchase stuff without having to go through the Qantas Mall. When I purchase something I will let you know of the outcome. :)

Yes, the ability to put your QFF number is on their site, BUT is not there when first joining. You have to go back into the system to find it in your profile to input your number.
Not nice when you are going from the Qantas Mall to make a purchase for bonus points and no opportunity to put your number in for first timers.
