Korean Air will be flying its Boeing 747-8 daily on the SYD-ICN route from the end of this month until mid-January 2024.

We don't see many 747s in Australia these days (at least, not running passenger services) so this could be a good opportunity if you want to fly on one!

Good to know. I recently flew J upstairs on a LH 747-8 FRA-SIN.The best part was the view of the plane from the Senator Lounge in FRA. I knew I was comprising the J experience to fulfill a childhood dream. J class on Korean looks ok.

We will be on this plane ICN - SYD at the beginning of November. When we booked our KE flights SYD to TAS via ICN, the plane for ICN - SYD was B789 (I think) but a few weeks later it was changed to B747 so we changed the J seats to the upstairs.

Hi. Sorry for the potentially dumb question, but what are KE flights?
