I just booked some flight from Melbourne to London over Christmas. I am thinking about which frequent flyer program to use. Should I sign up to KrisFlyer, or put down my Velocity details. Is there a benefit to signing up to KF or better to just stick with what I have to not spread to wide over different schemes?

Solution
In general, I would say that KrisFlyer is a better program. However, KrisFlyer miles expire after 3 years so if you're using Velocity as your main program and wouldn't be actively using your KrisFlyer account, might be better to credit to Velocity.

If you're aiming for Velocity status, that may also be a reason to credit to Velocity.

Have you checked Where to credit to see how many points/miles you would earn in each program?
