Further to discussions with JessicaTam, afternoon tea has been suggested for KUL.

I am yet to confirm flights but am keen to do this - not sure whether I will make it down to SIN, but am keen for a weekend in KUL.

Venue suggestions:
1) Carcosa Seri Negara
2) The Orchid Conservatory
3) Mandarin Oriental

Carcosa Seri Negara is nominated by me due to its historical value.

Who would be willing to join on Saturday afternoon? Please confirm here separately to make the discussion easier.

I'm due in at KLCC around 2pm so put me down as gold for now. Ultimately, it will depends on time, location, and traffic (I'm arriving into KUL by bus)

Similarly it will depend on the timing, we are probably getting a bus across to Kuantan in the late afternoon so it's a maybe. I'm in Broome now and Colombo in a few days so don't have anything too dressy in my backpack.

You won't need anything dressy in KUL, that's for sure. It's quite casual so as long as you're not showing any leg/feet, and your top has something resembling any sleeves, you're pretty much good to go in 99.9% of the places.

Afternoon tea is between 3-6pm at Carcosa Seri Negara. How many people do we have so I can confirm the booking?

Now for me to book last minute tickets...!
