Folks,

Im looking on kulula.com for some flights CPT-JNB

There are BA 64xx flights (codeshare - ) operating a 737-400 interspersed with Kulula MN1** flights operating a 737-800 throughout the day

Prices of the BA codeshare flights are consistently about ZAR1700 while the Kulula MN flights are consistently about ZAR700 - throughout the day

The ticket conditions are the same wrt to checked luggage and onboard food.

I understand that Comair operates a BA franchise plus the low cost Kulula brand

If one is a "mainline" and the other a "low cost" what are the real differences?

With BA you'll earn points and receive benefits in relation to OW status, I'd imagine.

Read our AFF credit card guides and start earning more points now.

BA operated by Comair will allow you to earn OW points & SC's.

lounge access to the SLOW lounges is also available on a BA ticket on BA metal which Comair also operate. These lounges are superb, particularly the JNb & CPT lounges.

Actually this is not a “BA question”
Just want to know what differences are between BA franchise and Kulula in terms of inflight product
