Considering the QFF points we have (250K), I will book one JASA (me) and a PEJASA (Mrs Lime) SYD/LAX/SYD next month

Can Mrs Lime's PEJASA be upgraded later once we have enough points?

Or would be better to buy her a PE and upgrade that?, she would then be silver too.

I'm SG and Mrs Lime is SB.

Also, be doing four cities in US, so where is best place to book these on AA?, direct in OZ or via Q?.

I was under the impression the latest change to the QFF program brought about upgrades on ASA's, however didn't look too closely and it might just be for domestic, I'm sure it'll be on the QF website though.

J/W/FASA's have been upgradeable for over a year.

YASAs, internationally, are still not generally upgradeable.

There is a thread here on ASA upgrades.

Limewood, I wasn't sure from your post if you are making the booking next month, or aiming to travel next month. If it is the latter you may struggle to pick up a JASA. :-|

So your partner doesn't think the worst you might be wiser to get the wife up first to J.

She is happy to sit down with the troops and spend the difference once there, done this few times to Hong Kong, except Mts Lime has been lucky to get two upgrades to J on one return leg.

Your reply should be compulsory reading for all the plus ones as that would not fly in our household currently!
