If he is into watches I bought Ron on our last trip to the US in Dec/Jan a new watch - it is a " Citizen Eco Drive Satellite Wave - World Travel" so it never needs a battery, and it always knows the right time !! you get off a plane push one of the buttons and the satellite correct the watch to the current time ! It is a great toy for a boy

I have a watch I wear every day but the under 35s don’t think watches are a necessity. Life is very different for folks about half our age. That said I feel we have lived the dream.
We need larger dials or spectacles to read small watch faces.

Oh for me . I bought him some silver and ruby cuff links last year when we were in Sri Lanka. He interestingly just bought himself a new watch.

Have just returned from NYC - mrsdoc got there a few days before me (parallel work trips incredibly!).

All stores had been reviewed prior to my arrival, and "best" ones pre-selected to reduce my "wasted" time going to the wrong stores.


Certainly made it easy for me to achieve rapid fire purchases without too much mucking around. Of course, I did have to buy another bag to transport all the shopping home in....

Mrscove is wanting to go back to South Coast Plaza before we head back to Australia. We may stay at the Westin as you can walk across a bridge to the shopping centre. That is convenient.
