So, I am trying to find an arrivals lounge / shower facilities at MXP as arriving at 7am with a full day ahead - none it seems.

I would argue that arrivals lounges are a more tangible + useful benefit than a departure lounge. Why? Most business travelers fly overnight in J to get to their destination in the early AM to start a full day's work. But wouldn't a lounge to shower / freshen up be much useful than a departures lounge where all one really does is sit and around and stuff yourself full with food + drink. The arrivals lounge experience cannot be replicated in the air but the departures lounge can. So I am not sure why airlines focus on departures lounges more than arrivals lounges...

Agreed it would be useful but expensive to maintain and probably underused, most people want to get out of the airport asap
I usually go straight to the hotel first, which may involve an extra night's charge but if your company is paying...
ALso, offices should have shower facilities, mine in Singapore does but of course many do not and if you are going to a client's office it's hardly going to be the done thing.
