Has anyone stayed at the Westin on the Strip? What's it like?
I didn't even know there was one. What's it near?
I think there is one a block or so back, not on the strip but?
I did not long after it opened, maybe 8-9 years ago. Nice small gaming hotel but rooms are small, paper thin walls, two blocks (a brisk 5 mins) walk to the strip. If this is your first time to Vegas I'd stay at a hotel on the strip.
Personally I LOVE the tackiness and raw history of the flamingo - don't forget this is where it all basically started - nothing screeches Las Vegas like the Flamingo IMHO.
If I am alone - ALWAYS the Flamingo - if I am with Cruiserette well the new flash brash ones get a go.
But if travelling single - god I love the location of Flamingo.

I don't think I would stay there every time, but The Flamingo is certainly a living piece of history.
I am looking at going again close to Christmas, may stay here.
Flamingo's definitely got some history about it, but only enough to admire as I walk past back to the Bellago

It's very much suited to couples, and slightly less family or party orientated IMO... Absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel though.I don't see many people recommending the Bellagio. Is it just due to the cost or does it have some issues?
