Will be flying into Washington from LA in August. Our flight doesn't get in until 9.00 pm then need to get to Homewood Suites in Viginia/Pentagon South. Is anyone aware if there is a cut off time for checkins.

Cheers

Why not just let the hotel know you're arriving late and maybe even mention the time your flight is due to arrive?

That way when you arrive and your room has been given away you can argue it shouldn't have been.

Homewood Suites front desk will be manned 24x7. So long as the reservation is guaranteed with a credit card you can check-in any time, even after midnight. They won't consider you a no-show until the following morning. But it can't hurt to let them know you expect to be arriving late, either by calling the hotel before you leave, sending the hotel an email, or seeing if you can update the reservation comments section on-line.

Thanks for the replies, it was my intention to notify them, I haven't stayed with Hilton before and couldn't find it in their policies, so I thought I would check with the people I knew would know.

If you haven't confirmed with a CC, they may off load your room at 4pm even if you have advised you'll be late. (Note the word may. They may not as well.)
