Laundry services and experiences while travelling

Because I’m lazy when I’m on holidays I refuse to do washing even if we have facilities in our room.
I always find the nearest laundry service and see if they have a pick up/drop off service. Happy to pay extra for them to provide that service and cost doesn’t worry me. I know the clothes will come back clean, ironed and sealed in plastic.
I usually do this just before we come home as well and it saves heaps of room in our suitcases 🤣

I always stay at Radisson Blu Cebu when I travel to Philippines. There‘s a Laundry shop at the SM Mall shopping centre, the charge is around PHP150 per kg. If you drop off at opening (10am), its ready for collection same day at 7pm.

Have seen some in the 5 star Japanese hotel - cannot comment on the international chains, because I dont stay in them.

The newly opened Hilton Miyako Resort has a coin-op laundry room - $3 for a 6kg wash, $1 per 30 min dry

Most 5 stars in Tokyo/Osaka do not have coin-op laundry though.
