LAX Check-in Time [Full service now from 6pm]

Full service checkin and ticketing assistance from 1800. Though on the electronic screen it does say 1630 for QF12/94. This might still mean that early limited checkin starts a bit earlier. We arrived at 1750 and queues were already back to the terminal entrance

Can you please let me known the latest info when you've done your trip. I am hoping to check in my +1 for her QF flight when I check in for my ANZ flight which departs 3 hours earlier than hers

Had to fight /push through the Y queues to get to the F/J queues.

Once you got past Y were F/J much shorter and quicker or was there still a long wait?

(On a tangent, recent experience has taught that it would be faster to check in with MH by joining the Y queue rather than the J queue :evil

How were the F/J queues?

Arrived 1830hrs last Thursday 19th Jan. Y had about 50 pax, both F/J each had one person waiting both with an absolute pile of luggage, seemed they may have been together checking-in as a family, we were called past the person waiting in F, nice!

Last time we flew back out of LAX QF checkin opened up after EK had finished checking in their DXB flight. Not sure if they still use the same row as EK but the mid-arvo EK flight 216 currently departs at 1535.

Qf usually uses the B counters at the furthest end from the entrance.

When I was there in January it didn't open till 6.
Fortunately, I was checking in at J / F counter, but the queue for Y was horrendous.

I know the year before, that checkin opened about 4, but has this changed permanently?

Id really like to get checked in, thru security, and relaxing in the lounge for while before my flight home in Y......arrrgh

Yes things have changed, the early checkin has gone and now nothing opens until 6

Yep - 6pm in March. ... I had an exit row and did not fly in so had to hit the counter.
