We have 8 hours between our AA arrival into LAX and our late evening QF departure. I was thinking a trip to Santa Monica would be a nice idea- have a walk and something to eat. Just remembered that we will all have coats & carry -on bags etc. UGH! I can't find any reference to luggage storage facilities in LAX. Does anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks

Rolls if you hire a vehicle you can put those bags in the trunk.
After that you can work on dinner.

Or pack them in a separate suitcase and check them in. I always buy an additional case when in the states

Thanks everyone I really like the idea of the car. And your Idea is good to spruce except that my carry on has things I want on the plane like my pillow!

On your way to Santa Monica you can stop at Costco and get their Samsonite luggage for $129 that DJs had for $400. They are just off the corner of Lincoln and Washington on your way to Santa Monica. I think the membership is about $55.
Our staff then put 2.25 litres of alcohol in the bag that is now being checked in and that can save quite a bit.
Before too long you may not be able to afford saving any more money.......
