It's been years since I visited LA, and have read they now have a place for rideshare pickups called LAX-it.
Looks like it's past T1, so for someone arriving into TBIT, is it a decent hike to get there?
Website suggests it's 18 minutes.
Any tips for someone who has arrived into LAX recently?
Unfortunately I don't have any friends who can do a personal pickup at the terminal.

There is a parking lot just before the entrance ramp to World Way (the land side road looping through the central terminal area) next to T1. LAX moved taxi and rideshare app pick ups to this lot to reduce traffic on World Way during the airport upgrades.
There is a shuttle from the terminals to the LAX-it parking lot. The shuttles pick up from the arrivals level at the Green stops.
LAX has different coloured areas outside the terminals for each type of ground transport. 1742212319695.png
It is about a 1km walk from TBIT to LAX-it.

Once the people mover opens (now due early next year), hotel shuttles, rental cars, ride share and access to public transport will be via stations on the people mover north of the Sheraton Gateway and Holiday Inn while the current LAX-it location will have T1 expanded into it for the Concourse 0 project.
