Press release from Virgin:Update on operations at LAX | Virgin Australia Newsroom
Currently, it is at the most Western End of T3, no more than 100 metres from TBIT, this will make it 300 metres to the same point (assuming T2 checkin hall stays where it is).No, but it is moving to T2 (does that count? Nah, didn't think so). T2/T3 combo terminal makes this less an 'issue', new checkin desk FYI will be at western-most part of T2.
Any word on an airside transfer for passengers arriving on a Delta flight connecting to a VA flight?
DavidFlynn said:Further down the track Delta will open a new connector linking T2 and T3 to the adjacent Tom Bradley International Terminal...
... and link all three terminals in a single precinct to be known as the Delta Sky Way.
Similar to the connector between Terminal 4 and TBIT, it will sit behind security and make for faster connections between flights at LAX, especially with Delta's international SkyTeam partners including Air France-KLM, Alitalia, China Eastern, China Southern and Korean Air.

This is all being prompted by Delta — they’re vacating Terminals 5 and 6 and moving to Terminals 2 and 3, so that they can be closer to their partner airlines and have more consolidated operations.

Over a five-day period in May, one-third of our nearly 70 airline partners will relocate their operations, many of them to new terminals but others to new ticket counters in their current home. The moves will take place the nights of May 12, 14 and 16. Each airline will complete its relocation overnight, and start their operations in their new location the following morning.

At T5 there's the airside transfer bus and the walkway to TBIT.
Must say, considering the poor EY Sydney lounge offering, I think the TBIT EK is very nice.
Pre printed list at the door with names, opens at 18.30, greeted by at least 8 people as we walked in and currently sitting on the outdoor area (not deck, overlooking shops) and the food offering look very nice.
Poor EY Sydney lounge? I really like the SYD EY lounge. The service and separate dining area is great. If you want a poor lounge, transit through SIN in Y
So any feedback on the Emirates Lounge at LAX for Plats? How does it stack up against the *A lounge?
My flight home to BNE was at 11am on Saturday so I unfortunately didn't have access to either Etihad or Emirates lounges as both were closed (WP flying J). Yesterday morning I received 10k velocity points as a 'goodwill' gesture - called to ask what they were for and they said due to the lounges being closed. Shame I didn't get a $40USD voucher but I can't really complain with 10000 points
