Leapfrogging from Silver to Platinum what happens with Gold Benifits

While I am not sure you would get both benefits (the platinum benefit just looked like the gold benefit plus some extra), do you actually need to use the guarantee? A quick search of domestic flights next June showed plenty of flights with 4 economy reward seats on them. Not sure why you'd need the guarantee?

Certainly for the international flights it could come in handy, but I also briefly thought the domestic flights shouldn't be a problem if booked enough time ahead of schedule. Might even be able to do so now.

I was thinking this ^^^^^^ as well.

Does this refer to only economy reward or also business reward?

How do they guarantee a reward if the flight is fully booked with cash paying customers?

Hi Basso, Correct, I am not concerned about the domestic, but my concern was the the International. If you see the original post, I was worried that I will zoom past Gold to WP without having the use of the gold guarantee... June is one example, but say next Christmas when I need to go to Mildura on the 14th... Dec... More to do with Holiday peak times. I see the guarantee as a guaranteed 4 seats at peak times... But again, I am new at all this and just feeling my way along... Thanks for the thought... much appreciated.
