Left my laptop in MUC and trying to get it home to SYD [resolved]

It was a pleasure to help and the MUC lost and found was efficient in retrieving the laptop and passing it on after the appropriate paper work was exchanged.

I once left a bottle of duty free booze onboard a BA flight arriving at MUC. I have to say, I agree with you. Picking it up a couple of days later from lost and found was rather efficient and painless.

I’d be really uncomfortable picking up and managing items for an unknown person. That is really scary.

It’s great that it worked out, but what if it didn’t.
I’d normally agree. But presumably in this place the identity of the person owning the PC was established, otherwise the lost and found wouldn’t have handed it over!

For me that would probably be peace of mind.
