It looks like a fabulous couple of flights. How did you check for award availability?

Can't answer for PF, but in general UA is pretty good. Whether other programs will have that space available is another issue... LM for example blocks plenty of otherwise available space. But LM is much much cheaper than UA.

I have a belt and braces approach to nabbing lucrative Awards.
Expert Flyer alerts and Award Nexus. Plus I habitually check both manually several times a day. This is one of the few times where my OCD really comes in handy :p

Wasn't there a situation relating to AB defunctness and well timed 14 day LH availability?

LH F is an experience and a half indeed! And that Porsche is very enjoyable...once you get used to driving over 200 km/h :D. I maxed out at about 235-240 km/h...as apparently the tyres were not rated for higher . I actually found taking a corner very quickly to be more enjoyable, and the pucker factor goes up when the car slides ever so slightly! :D I've had the good fortune to fly LH F on four separate flights with two trips to the FRA FCT, and one to the MUC FCL. The three ducks sit on my bathroom vanity at the moment, I need to get another! Glad to see you very much enjoyed it Princess Fiona.

CE was on with 2004 vintage Krug on SQ so he isn’t switching. Our family has zillions of Kris Miles so we just stay with what we know.
