After a couple of flights in the US, my QF status now shows that I have reached Life Time Silver. Woo Hoo. :)

Now making LTG is a whole other matter.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to AFF for helping make this possible.

Congrats JT

Took me around 13 years to hit LTS .... LTG came 4 years later. You never know what the future holds for FF.

Well done Jess, I'd say some bubbles at your nearest F lounge would be sufficient for celebrating.

Congrats.I may have to get some tips.QP member since 1992 and still no where near LTS.:lol:;)

Well done JT.
I made LTS earlier this year but for me not sure what it's really worth - a few extra points on flights maybe but not much more IMO. But then again, it can't be taken away, only 'enhanced' as QF so quaintly puts it  And it is a milestone on the way to LTG. If I'm still flying when I'm 101, maybe I'll get there.

Biggest benefit of LTS is for travel in the US. Priority check-in/security/stand-by/seat selection/included luggage.

Glad that you've made it this far, and I can only hope that LTS will be of value for many years in the future. That's no small amount of time spent in a flying box, no matter how you look at it!

I'm at 10k credits from just over 5 years membership and, though still 'young' to many here, I'm at the point where I'm not keen to spend more of my life in the air than absolutely necessary. I wonder if LTG will matter by the time I (or we) become an occasional traveller...

Congratulations Jessica. LTS is better than nothing but LTG is best. Im sure you'll get there soon.

Based on my next flight this afternoon, I think it might have to be a glass of something at a Priority Pass lounge

I think for me it is a milestone on the way to lifetime gold. With the flights I have booked for next year, I have about 5500SC to go. So about 5 years of WP, or 10 of SG (which is more likely). If I can manage that by the time I retire, then I will be happy.
