Hi guys, long time lurker, first time poster, thanks for all the informative posts so far!

Husband and I booked December 2017 flight MEL-CDG, with SIN-CDG being in Suites. However, 2 days ago got email informing that aircraft has been swapped to 777-300ER (with 4 seats in F - so does this mean they must be the new F?), so we are admittedly a bit gutted to be missing out on Suites for that long haul flight. We have never flown suites, F, or J on Singapore, so we were really looking forward to it. However, at least it should be the new F, so silver lining is we get to try something different.

I read that for winter 2017/18, A380 has been removed on all Paris flights. Just curious what's the reason for this, and whether there's any chance it might be swapped back to A380 if there is enough demand?

We've also booked the JFK-FRA-SIN-MEL flight in January 2018 in Suites. Is there any chance this could be swapped out? Or is it fairly safe because it's a high demand route?

Thanks in advance for any information!
