The link doesn't appear to be working any longer... Any idea where /holidays/our-lounge-house is linked from? Think my parents could benefit from this offer.

I found it when I was looking for something unrelated about VA via a Google search. The link came directly from Virgin Holidays.
After I posted it on here it appeared on a couple of blogs and then OzBargain a few days afterwards.

Not sure why the offer is dead but it was a genuine link directly from Virgin.

It would be good to get some info from the Virgin Rep on here.

Going to leave this screenshot here as an archive of the promotion:

Curious as to why it's been removed early.

You can't :(
Virgin pulled the webpage for reasons that aren't clear.
I'd watch the VA Holidays site in case it makes a return.

Re: Virgin Airlines Domestic Senior Lounge pass

Another AFF member has posted a screenshot of the original promo here if you're interested.

I have no idea why this offer was withdrawn early...

Re: Virgin Airlines Domestic Senior Lounge pass

Epic Virgin PR fail!
I called it earlier with botched promo of having to book within a certain period to use in a certain period (should not have to book within very period) just have the hours and dates only. Then I read that a younger guest could go in as well with the over 60 market.....
So let's say a couple of soccer/rugby/scrabble/card groups booked and virgin went whoops lounges would be overflowing!
Or did the Virgin plat holders pen a quiet word to Virgin?

Re: Virgin Airlines Domestic Senior Lounge pass

Mods can we move these posts to the original thread ?

Thanks
(I suspect this isn't the end of the story)

Re: Virgin Airlines Domestic Senior Lounge pass

The promotion was and still is available, regardless of whether it is still advertised. It would be illegal for them to deny your right to a purchased service (as long as you met the criteria for the promotion).

You should take this up higher (by email) referencing ACCCs deceptive advertising and the advertising and selling guide.

Feel free to also use the screenshot as proof of the promotion's availability and your eligibility.

Well, given you had to book a #Holiday# not a Flight, and you had to request the pass in the booking, I doubt to many people meet the eligibility requirements.

When I got the heads up I got the denied access. This new link just takes me to a page where VA asks me to accept virgin cookies. No mention of lounge access for the over 60s.
