My ears must have been burning
Yes, I'm still around - but as
NM says (he is well informed of my situation :mrgreen
, life - both personally and professionally, has been hectic. Professionally it's been since the Govt Budget in mid May, when Peter Costello gave many months worth of work to financial planners, most of it initially with clients needing answers by 30 June. Just as many clients have needed advice post 1 July and at present, I have enough work (without talking to anybody new) until end August. On top of this, we are restructuring our business at a time when I could least afford the hours. The only positive is that I have never earnt so much money - alas, I'd trade some of it for a more balanced work/social life.
On the personal side, I negotiated the sale of our house and we are looking for another house to buy (with contemporaneous settlement in mid-November desired); so it has taken a lot of my time on the weekends. Never seen so many nice houses, but as yet "the one" has alluded us.
Yada Yada, this might be your lucky night. As tomorrow is a public holiday in BNE, I'm having tonight "on" my computer tonight on FT and AFF. Alas, work tomorrow for me
but at least I'll have a couple of hours to try and catch up on the last 2 months' worth of posts. Here's to speed reading...
