BTW, you might be interested to know that the three amigos of AFF/FT were on the ABC-TV Canberra news report on the AGM.

Yes, but calling our appearance "fleeting" would be an overstatement. Not exactly my most prominent TV appearance.

(I did recently manage two photos in the one edition of The Canberra Times - including one on the front page. Of course they were group shots of me with 4000 of my closest friends competing in The Canberra Times Fun Run. Mind you, the only way to describe one of the photos is, "I'm the one with my head a couple of millimetres away from one of Sarah Ryan's breasts". Unfortunately when you actually see the photo, it's clear that I'm really about 10 metres away from said swimmer, who was firing the starter's pistol to send us on our way.)

You wouldn't want me to win because that would be the day that earth freezes over and we all end up in hell. To be honest could not care less who wins and good luck to the person that does win. Some of us have placed educated guesses based on statistics but that has failed miserably because of the restraint being used by certain people.

The fun part is that we have been able to milk this thread for all it's worth and for me that is priceless.

Most of the people using this website are genuine people who love to help others and I am eternally grateful for this. The information that I have learned is going to very useful in the future.

Me. I am the clown prince, well in my own mind anyway. Don't provide many constructive ideas but I love to stir, and most of the time I am the only one that understands what I have posted, and sometimes I confuse me as well.

I really couldn't care less if I did win or not. What I do care about is that people are assisted on this site. I would love to one day be considered in the same light as Lindsay Wilson, NM, straitman, thadocta, kiwi flyer, serfty, oz_mark, arun, blacknox, gordon, danielh, dajop ,d00t, redrat, shillard, mal, dave noble(late addition to team) and many many others. If I have left anyone out it is because I don't want to type any more names. You are all great. Fantastic.

Without you all out there we would not have a successful aff. Keep up the great work.

And Lindsay, there are cures for yips (start putting cross handed) and NM shanks happen because the club is lifted too sharply in the backswing and never quite gets back on the correct swing plane. There are cures for everything.

Alas, after a couple of days interstate, work somehow became a priority yesterday and last night I was out to functions with work..so far from getting the "yips", JohnK. Thanks for your putting tips, already had my putting corrected by a golf pro and putting straight now

Shame about QF Customer Relations, although it may not be all bad news. Perhaps they are giving it serious consideration, rather than just sending a "thanks, but no thanks" response.
