Liquid restrictions on Domestic flight?

Hi and its been so long that I cant remember. Am I allowed to carry a bottle of 750ml spirits through security and onto the plane if flying Syd>Darwin?

Not an authoritative answer, but a friend did carry an an unopened 750ml bottle of whiskey in her carry-on a couple of weeks ago (domestic flight of course).

Yes. No drama - so long as it’s a domestic flight out of T2/3.

Not problem as long as domestic terminals.

There are some bans on thing like solvents in large quantities, but a 750ml bottle is fine.

is that because you think you'll need it on the flight because it's so long since you've flown (PS I know you don't drink)

Unless something has changed you're all good if it's sealed

Not that anyone would check. But, all the airlines do ban the consumption of BYO booze on board.

OT, but a pity US airlines don’t ban extended family size pizzas on board!

I tried to look it up but info was 100mls in a ziplock bag but thats international.

That was all I could find until I checked Dangerous Goods and for some reason it was there under what was permitted.

Just jumping on the bandwagon as it has been 2+yrs since I last flew domestic. Any LAGS don't need to be taken out of your bag and put separately in the tray right? Only laptops and tablets go into the trays?

Correct, LAGs don't need to come out domestically in Aus.

Laptops always need to come out, and tablets often need to too (except for 'all in' scanners like at CBR). Very inconsistent. Sometimes umbrellas too.

Aerosols are ok but they do need to come out separately for screening.

Although, not sure if that is still required for the new 3D scan machines eg SYD that let you keep laptops in your bag.

International and in most other countries =liquids restrictions.

Flying domestically in UK today and it’s the LAG 100 ml thing here.
