Little things I like

LTIL - Finding out there is a Latina Brazilian Barbeque Restaurant directly opposite the Jing’An Shangri-La-La Hotel in Shanghai 👍

And I stayed here 6nts in May and never knew it was there.

If only I could remember to flip this dude from here:

Little kid patiently explains ( as if to someone slow) why they shouldn't use public wi-fi, VPN blah blah, reason 2, reason 3
Technically he's not wrong, but an airport lounge is probably not a dangerous place to use the free wifi 😂 time and place, kid

I'm still on holidays in Norway and we're having a fair bit of rain, so we went to the indoor swimming place. I hadn't been there for 30 years and not a single thing had changed. It was so nice to take my son there, where my father took me as a boy, to go swimming and play on the slides.

Also, what's extra wonderful, is how water proof new electronic devices are. I was in the water for 5 minutes before I noticed that my phone (Galaxy S21) was in my pocket! Works great so far 🤞🤞

Finding a $1 credit to your debit card - a rebate from a purchase in UK 2 months before!
When we went online to enter in MrsK's tax return and it alerted us there was an entry under interest. We were puzzled as there shouldn't have been. Looking at it, there was abt $2 from the ATO as we paid her tax debt early last year.

Although a WCMO moment is that it was added to her taxable income this year.

I have $30 in Hellstra but figured my time was worth more than to claw it back!!!
Re ATO interest mentioned upthread I am almost tempted to put a stack of money in early as interest paid is much greater than in any high interest bank account. $260 for paying a 30k amount one month early!!!
