Locking The Toilet Door

snip ... but exactly the same thing happened on my return journey.

In 22 years of air travel this had never happened to me before...and then I am traumatised twice in two weeks!

Is there something that makes the locking of the F toilet harder than other toilets?

Be interesting to know if it was the same plane. One of the A388s has a sticky loo latch in J on the starboard side. I know it's the same plane when I encounter this particular loo.

Now that we all know how to manually unlock the doors, can we expect reports back of some amusing stories when we do this to someone who has tried to : take all the overhead space, pretended outrage when they sit in our seat & we ask them to move, give the FAs a hard time, had their earbuds half out & musak up loud, or, are otherwise difficult on board??
