About to start heading out now for this catchup ;)

Ooh...I better leave hotel 15 minutes early then ;)

Inbound is 9 mins late at the moment ;) (Yep, head/tail winds).

Usually BA do try to get planes away early when they can. Penalty when you're too early though is a bus gate and associated bus trip (although it does save a long walk from some far gates!)

No sign of any Ba plane at Bud atm. Bloody Ba...arrived at airport 2.5 hrs prior to departure. ..couldn't find checkin desk and asked...Ba only open checkin 2 hrs prior to flight departure at Bud!

Just did a quick run past the place. 2 odd mins walk from tube station, turn right out of tube, same side and walk down to the lights. Restaurant is just on the corner (next to a pub of course ;) )

Today they're cash only (sign up about problems with Internet). Atms are close and we will work something out. (online reviews showed credit cards accepted :( )

Annoying re BA, but they are quite odd at times in their outsourced locations.

Should be around as long as it's not the first week!

Good to catch up with all again, it's been quite some time.

Am now back at the Paddington Hilton after a great meal with fellow AFFers.

Thanks to Mal for choosing a great place and to all for turning up on a Bank Holiday. I also now know how to cash in an Oyster cars.

Next trip to BKK in August and US in Oct.

Was a good catch up. Agree Pizza was nice, and this place has been added to my list of random restaurants around London for future reference. :)

35 mins from LHR T5 on the tube is very decent.

Until next time!

Just use your credit card contactless, easier.

Can I use my 28 degrees MC?

Can't see why not!

My 28 degrees MC was charged (only) AUD$5.80 for the return tube trip between LHR T3 and South Ealing stations....does this sound right? Seems on the cheap side if you ask me ;)

Yep, 5.80 seems right.

2 x Off Peak zone 6 - zone 3 underground( £1.50) fares is £3, so converted to AUD, that's what I would expect.
