Thanks for posting, Mal. Surprisingly sedate at LHR on Monday morning, when we eventually arrived. Our scheduled six hour layover was cut to a transit time of around an hour and a half by the time QF9 made it to T3. But we slid through to T5, with just time to catch our breath before boarding our onward flight. Much quicker than recent transfer times of two hours, even with Fast Track.

Judging by by the Departure Boards, and from staff chat, flights seemed generally back to "normal".

QF staff were very helpful in keeping us informed re onward flight connections etc. along the way. Must have been a challenging day or two for everyone involved.
