Hello.

At the end of September, I am planning to end my trip with a few days in HKG.

I am mainly interested in finding a hotel with a lovely outdoor pool for a bit of R&R. Getting a room with a view is also on my list and the hotels I've found so far tick this box.

I will be travelling solo and this will also be my first time in HKG. I am only starting to research HKG now and I know nothing about the city. I am comfortable catching public transport and I assume my choices so far can be accessed using public transport.

So, my current list (in no particular order) is below. Any feedback on these hotels is appreciated. If there are other hotels that fit my criteria, please let me know.

- Langham Place
- Four Seasons
- Grand Hyatt
- Renaissance Harbour View

Thanks, pw

Four Seasons has the best pool/pools in HGK.....couple that with the rooms, location, restrauants, view, service & you have the winner....IMO.

If you do stay make sure you get executive club access....icing on the cake.

Thank you.

There are just so many options.

I admit I am cough after the Four Season but the cost...the cost!

I didn't like the pool at Langham Place, perhaps it was just me, but it felt very closed in with no views.

The Intercontinental HK has a nice outdoor pool area with great harbour views.

Agree that FS probably has the best combo - great pool, great restaurants, attached mall...
W is good as well but I think they have a "bar" up there now - so not so great if you are conscious of people staring at you while you are in the pool
Interestingly I liked the Sheraton - the pool is on the roof, great for a swim at night amongst the neon lights of the roofs in Kowloon, a couple of small spas at one end but the whole place is a little recessed, so when sitting or in the pool, not much view

FWIW, have been staying here since 07 at least once a year....have never been disappointed. The cost is high but so is the satisfaction, joy & desire to return when you have to leave.

East has an outdoor pool of a decent size. I think it had a bit of a view but nothing great. Requesting higher level rooms with an harbour view is most worthwhile. Would gladly stay there again.

The spa, in particular, has great views!

Harbour Plaza North Point is the value option - great pool and sun lounge area
