Losing my Tiger Virginity

I flown both Tiger here in Oz and Tiger Asia.

The Aussie Tiger flights (some years ago now) were awful to the extent that MEL-OOL was delayed about 2 hours, and sitting in that tin shed after getting to Tulla about 3 hours before scheduled flight time to make sure I did not miss out on check in, did not improve my humour. Check in process was chaotic. Screaming kids and over-refreshed bogans in the waiting area after check-in just about did my head in. I had a bulkhead seat going up, and the flight itself was uneventful. I didn't order food. Had to get a taxi to my accommodation due to late arrival. As one would expect, no explanations or announcements about the delays.

Flight home was also delayed about an hour. Terminal building wasn't even open when I and other passengers arrived for the flight. Long wait for bags once we got home to Tulla.

The Singapore-Penang Tiger flight was fine. Left pretty much on time, flight was short and uneventful. No major complaints other than the sneaky carry on bag weighing out of sight AFTER entering the secure area in the (now demolished) low cost terminal at Changi. I had to exit, line up again and check the bag (only slightly over) for $25. Then had to wait ages for it when I got to Penang.

I might chance my arm and fly Tiger again here in Oz. But after 1 miserable return MEL-OOL_MEL flight on DeathStar, you would have to drag me kicking and screaming on to one of their planes to get me to fly with them again.
