Could someone please advise on current lounge access rules for a QFWP flying Jetstar departing from DPS? We have 'business' seats but did not pay the extra $$ for points / SCs and lounge access.

I guess that we would be allowed to access a QC if there were one, but as I understand it the lounge used at DPS is not operated by QF.

I have searched here and elsewhere but cannot find recent consistent information on this specific point.

Thanks in advance.

Confirmed no access for WPs. I even asked last time. But there are several lounges at DPS where you can pay for admission (USD 25.00-35.00 or so). Sometimes they have a discount offer.

Thanks to all for responses.

Best regards,

If you do want to use a lounge at DPS, you can pay to get into any of the three available. Of the three, I would choose the Premier Lounge at the top of the stairs near Gate 1. It's the lounge that most full-service carriers use for their J passengers and is comparatively good. It ranks an "OK" for food, internet access (workstation, not wi-fi), seating, outdoor area and a view. The entry fee is (from memory) IDR 250,000 or about AUD 27.

Don't happen to know if they have showers in the Premier Lounge?

I vaguely remember seeing shower facilities when I was there, and there is a page on loungeguide.net that seems to confirm it (I'd post the link but I'm too fresh here to be allowed). Try Googling the page name: "Denpasar / Bali (DPS) Independent Premier Lounge - LoungeGuide.net".

Can anyone tell me what the situation is in regards to lounge access for the following departing from DPS on QF270 (operated by Jestar) in business class, I am a WP1, surely must be free lounge access (as poor as it may be)

It's a bit of a new combination - WP1 flying Jetstar but not in Business Max class? My guess is no access as per WP. Otherwise it would be the JAS Lounge.
