Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

QF lounge passes can only be used in QF lounges.

On the above itinerary you will get access with them to the QF SYD J lounge.

You can purchase lounge access in DXB if you wish but I think it’s exx_y.
QF Club members can use the business lounge in DXB as long as they are on a QF codeshare flight number.
Hi, just a follow up clarification

Can I use complimentary Qantas lounge passes in QF Syd J lounge when travelling on a codeshare flight number? e.g EK417/QF8417?

Thank you

Hi, this is my first post and a 2 part question.

Soon flying from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur. First leg to Singapore is F with Emirates EK405, followed by Y class on Jetstar Asia to KL - both on QF codeshare.

Realise that, sadly, we will checkin too late to experience QF F lounge -unless someone has managed to check in early, if so tips please 🙏 !

During transit ( for 4 hours) in Singapore what are the chances that we will be able to use a oneworld lounge (as on a QF ticket for both flights, i know should strictly be operated as well - but hopeful...) or the Emirates lounge? Silver QFF and QC-can use Priority Pass thanks to CC, but would prefer not to.

You can access the QF J lounge at SIN if it's open in the morning on the day you're there, but leave plenty of time (I'd say no less than 45 mins before boarding) to leave for T4.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday:
1.50pm to midnight
Tuesday and Sunday:
7.40am to 10am and 1.50pm to midnight
Thursday:
7.40am to midnight.

Any view on QF J lounge at SIN as LTG on early morning flights. Can you access it the day before (noting lounge seems to close at midnight at present)

Arriving at 10pm with SQ which is too late for any SE Asian connections, so wondering if I could get lounge access for an hour or so if I book a 3K flight over other alternatives.

Would then possibly go to Ambassador (airside) or Yotelair (landside) before probably going to T4.

And is access still possible to T4 Blossom on 3K as QF elite?

A quick question about lounge access at Tokyo Haneda.

Flying in on JAL first class (arriving 5:10am)
Flying out on JAL premium economy (departing 10:55am).

Will I have access to the JAL First Lounge during my transit?

Under oneworld rules, it will depend if you are connecting long haul to short haul.

Not sure if JAL has separate rules, over and above, for its first class pax on connections.

Thanks for your reply and sorry for not giving enough information.

I'm flying in on JL3 JFK-HND first class.
Flying out on JL37 HND-SIN premium economy.

I think both flights are classified as long haul?

Yes, anything over four five hours for international is ‘long haul’.

You’ll have lounge access as premium economy, but it might be worth asking at the F lounge anyway. Many airlines offer benefits for their own connecting passengers, over and above oneworld or other alliance rules.

I have QF7 in a few weeks, with a four hour layover before connecting on AA to Austin. My understanding is that I have to clear customs, but my luggage will be checked through. Once I clear customs, what are my lounge options after I re-clear security? Are international / Terminal D lounges accessible with a domestic ticket?

I am Qantas Gold and have AMEX Platinum / PP.
