Background to this thread
We have noticed an increase in the posting of questions regarding what Airport Lounges are available at specific airports when travelling on specific airlines. While one can be assured of access at the airline lounge when travelling on that airline (provided you have Lounge membership), thing start to get complex when travelling on a codeshare or partner airline.

Posting Guidelines
Please post your questions about Lounge access in this thread. Be sure to include the airline you are travelling on, the airport (and terminal, if known), and any Airline Status or Airport Lounge membership programs you have.

When answering questions, please include the original question. This will assist in readability and management of the thread.

(Special thanks to Princess Fiona for suggesting this new thread.)

According to the OW lounge finder it looks like the KAL Lounge. The Qantas website lists the same KAL lounge.
Thanks. I think what’s confusing me is that there are multiple KAL lounges and OW seems to suggest there is a First Lounge as well? But then it looks like some of those are restricted to other OW partners only…

in any case, from what I can see, the KAL lounge is new-ish and albeit not thrilling, it’s better than the old offering.

Under Oneworld there are two Asiana Linges listed and one KAL lounge.

The asiana lounges are restricted OW lounges only for the carriers stated (CX, QR, MH).

The ‘KAL lounge’ is for all other OW carriers. The blue and green dots indicate both sapphire and emerald can enter.

On KAL’s website they list four lounges in Terminal 1, including separate F and J lounges and a top-tier FF lounge. The ‘KAL Lounge’ is the fourth. It doesn’t look like it caters specifically for F (which is a separate lounge). But maybe you’ll be lucky with separate sections in there?

Hi
Travelling J out of MAN in June on SQ to SIN-MEL

Looks like there are two lounges in MAN -

I am SQ gold

Anyone been there recently

I usually fly into MAN out elsewhere so no experience

Hi all, can't quite work this out if anyone knows, but if I book an AKL-SYD-AKL in J 'priority' with LATAM what lounges do I have please? I can't work out which lounges they are using at AKL. From the link below possibly they are using the QP at T1, not sure about that either. Unsure if my OW Emerald via Qatar status match will help. Certainly VA SG won't and I've got Nuthin' with QF. Thanks!

If you've booked on LA codes there is no QF or oneworld entitlement, so you are completely reliant on LATAM cabin entitlement.

I think it's the Strata lounge in AKL. It's QF in SYD.

If you booked on QF codes you can access the QF lounge in AKL.

Hi all, I'll be transiting through Doha on my way from Australia to Ireland in the next few weeks on QR. I'm booked in F for the longer first leg and J in the shorter second stage. I have around 2.5 hours stopover in Doha - will I be allowed to use Al Safwa Lounge? If so, is it a similar situation to Emirates where you get personally escorted to the lounge when you disembark from your flight? TIA.

Thanks Justin, appreciated. Given its far cheaper to book via LA and there is no real hope of me building back status with QF, that's how I'll roll

Hi all

According to the Finnair website, business class passengers have access to The North Lounge at KIX.

Two questions
1) how does this lounge compare, in general? My wife and I know the definition of 'lounge' can be broad so should we be setting our expectations

2) as a business class Finnair passenger, would we have access to other Oneworld lounges that would be worthwhile trying instead?

Thanks in advance
Michael

If the JAL Sakura lounge is open when you travel, you should be able to access this under the oneworld rules... it looks like it may still be closed, though.

Cheers,
Matt.

Hi,

I'll soon be travelling MEL-SFO on UA61 in J, booked as part of a RTW fare with Lufthansa.

I'm assuming I can use either Air NZ or SA lounges on departure. Can anyone tell me if there are any lounges I'd be able to access on arrival into SFO at 0830?

Thanks. However there are no OW lounges in terminal 1, rather lounges which the two OW carriers operating from there use. JL use the Lufthansa lounge and AT which could be the AF lor Primeclass lounges.

I have Emirates First Class booked for a trip from Sydney to Venice via Dubai.

Sydney to Dubai is on the a380 First, but the only equivalent seat on the Dubai to Venice leg is in business class.

Can anyone tell me if I will still gain access to the Emirates First Class lounge in Dubai?

Welcome to AFF, @gdm73

I'm not sure EK First Class provides for inbound arrivals First lounge access while transiting Dubai airport.

I suggest keeping all boarding passes and ask at a First lounge entry nicely.

The entire trip from Sydney to Venice was purchased at 'First Class' pricing, so I thought it may be classified as First all the way, even though their only option is to put you into a Business seat from Dubai to Venice. We shall see!

Hi all - flying on MH to LHR via KL this Thursday with a 22:10 departure from Sydney

Was intending to use the QF F lounge, but the last flight is the QF25 to Tokyo at 20:20. What time would the QF F lounge close as a result? 8pm? 7:30pm? Looks like I might only have a short stint there before being booted out

The lounge closes after the last QF departure is called for boarding.
Likely around 8pm.
