Hi all, I'm trying to find out if I can access the American Airlines Admirals Lounge in T4 LAX on arrival.

For context I do not have Qantas club membership (I get complementary passes often enough to not need one) I'm arriving on QF11 and have approx 6 hour layover before taking a connecting flight on Delta. I know the Delta Sky Lounge is strictly for card holders/members only so no option there.

From what I can read I understand that I can purchase a day pass for the Admirals Lounge $79USD or the Flagship Lounge $150USD as long as there is capacity and I am travelling on the same day on a oneworld flight:

It’s worth remembering too that access for most eligible frequent flyers can be by way of a ‘same-day flight’. In effect, this permits access on arrival, provided you can physically access the lounge (which you can’t after an international arrival without also having an onward connection, unless arriving from Canada).

Now that all the Terminals are connected airside I can get to any lounge so that's not a problem, if anyone has had experience or success with this I love to know. I've also seen that Air France do a day pass and they are part of SkyTeam (Delta) so that may be an option too as it would be before my departing flight rather than my on arrival flight for access.

Thanks!

There is a marked step up from the admiral’s clubs to the flagship lounge. But given you might only have around 4 hours to use the facilities, the club might do.

You’re right, the terms and conditions for the AA day pass only require you to be travelling on AA OR having arrived on any oneworld airline that day.

Thanks, my main objective is to have a shower and relax for a while so not overly fussed on the food or beverage offerings which I believe are limited in Admirals. Happy to have a meal elsewhere in the Terminal if needed.
