Lounge Dragons Mel don't know the rules

I've seen someone waved the Gold card at the J Lounge and muttered that he was on J seat and decided to keep walking. Despite the queue at the counter, the lounge lady summoned the person back and made him wait, then scan his card to ensure he was indeed on J before allowing him in. I thought that was fair. Personally, I have stopped for breakfast after the red-eye flights into MEL and there were no problems (so far anyway).

I often use QF lounge arrival-access domestically and always use BP from the flight I just took as the "flash-card" to the Lounge Desk staff. Have never had an issue. As someone else said earlier in the thread - even if I have a BP for next onward flight... it's in my travel wallet, in my bag and PITA to reach. So I've always just used the BP from the flight I was on. Never had an issue. Did it in BNE, ADE, PER and MEL last week.

For me the arrival-access is one of the key benefits of WP. I don't always use it - but when I need it - its like gold... or should that be platinum ;)
