Lounge entry under Oneworld with different Frequent Flyer on Pass

Just on changing the frequent flyer on the booking after checking in, on my September trip, my original return booked flight was cancelled and I was rebooked onto a QF flight. It was only after checking in, did I notice I didn't have my QF number on the ticket so I rang Qantas to ask and they said the frequent flyer number couldn't be changed after checking in.

The most common reason for changing after checking-in is to gain Lounge access due to your status on Program1, which will be on your BP, then change the FF to Program 2, where you want to credit the flight to.

With the caveat that certain airlines have realtime info on the FF number on the booking so you may need to wait to change it after you are inside the lounge irrespective of what is printed on the BP at check-in.

Depends on the attitude of the agent. I've seen some that just wave people through (especially if they are regulars). But yes, the key thing is having that card at hand so that if challenged you can show you are eligible to access.
Nope. Not at an International First Lounge and not with a QR Boarding Pass. It will be scanned. QF want to account for the $$$ and who to charge for it as much as verifying the eligibility for access to the lounge at all.

And further, I recall an email from QR that told me, ?on certain routes? that they will credit the Privilege Club Avios and SC (equivalent) before the flight.

YMMV. It really depends on who you are as a traveller. If you are flying out of SYD INT every week, have Platinum One status and are on a first name basis with everyone in the lounge, trust me you are treated much different than a nobody World Platinum like myself turning up to the lounge

I’m a QFF P1 as is @RichardMEL
Everyone gets their Boarding Pass scanned on entry including us.
And we are both on first name terms with many of the staff.

Please do again tell me what my experience will be like as a Platinum One when you've never held the status and barely managed to put the W into World Platinum. I'm in my tenth year of P1, - I think I have a small idea about what will happen. Just a little. Maybe.

You're making a real assumption with zero real data to back it up.

And again, it doesn't matter who we are as pax, at QF internatonal lounges, and most definitely First, BP's are required to be scanned. Got nothing to do with who knows us, or how often we're there, or when I walk into MEL dom J they remember my coffee order..... it's how it goes for a number of reasons.
