I look forward to CNS lounge. Then the choice between VA and QF will be clear. In QF lounge now and to get towel for shower they took away the BP. Cant recall when last that happened.

Its a very ordinary lounge and a lousy shower!

I am heading to CNS tomorrow, well in 7 hours time actually. i will drop in to check it out if anything has happend..

Really. October. Looks like the service desk person who told me October 2 weeks ago was right.

Had some time to kill in CNS late last week waiting to be loaded into the cattle truck with wings (ATR) so went on a hunt for it -

Lounge location looks like being upstairs near the Q pub ........ Converted / redundant office space used ......CNS VPUB LOC..jpg

It's only fitting in CNS that you should be loaded into a cattletruck given that the boarding concourses there look like cattle ramps.

All that's missing is the cattle "dip" half way along!

With the QC recently having expanded slightly to include a kids section, the space that looks to be for VA would be a little smaller, but still bigger than what it appears QF have. Is bigger better?

Depends on how how you use it Sam. ;)

Didn't VA ask about pax choice a few months ago......between meeting rooms and perhaps.......day care rooms?

Occurs to me that CNS would be the prime lounge to trial such a section.

Interesting to note .....July was a record month for CNS ......416,500 PAX up 18,700 on the prior highest month in July 2012 ..... All time record day was July 7-2013 @ 15,800 up 1,700 on the past record in Nov 2012.

Lions rugby fans , the G.C. V's Richmond AFL game in CNS - southern states school hols. with increased Jetstar / Tiger capacity kicked it all along apparently ......... anybody running a book on the Yorkeys Knob development getting legs yet ????

That is one amazing proposed development. I will be surprised if it gets up, but if it does, it will move CNS to the next level..
