1. On the domestic (SYD-BNE) I am in Business Class. When I check in, I and one other guest can access the lounge but I will have two guests with me - and hence the request to see if anyone else was flying down on that particular flight who might be able to gift a plus one for them to join us at the Business lounge in Brisbane. They will not be travelling with me on the flight.
2. As this is part of a booking with an international component - I was hoping to see if anyone from First was checking in at Brisbane for a similar QF517 to QF1 connection - with my fingers crossed for a possible glimpse at the QF First Lounge in SYD. As for my international connection, I am currently booked in Premium Economy from SYD to LHR (via SIN) but have asked for a Classic Reward upgrade using points to International Business. Alas, I have to wait until the start of next week to see if that request has been secured.
3. I am also a Qantas Club member; so even if I was unsuccessful in finding a fellow traveller who might be willing to shout me a peek at the First lounge, I will be travelling alone and will still have access to the International Business lounges in SYD and SIN. By that stage, if travelling alone, I can gift my plus one for entry into the lounges in SYD and SIN.
