A few Egyptian reds at the hotel and we are Orf on a short walk to Riverbank restaurant

Was a novelty being a “celebrity” and people asking for photos and all. Quite surreal really

Buffet was a bit stressful what with queues and all

Farewell to the very authentic Om Kolthom Hotel (owned well was started by a opera singer lady)

Exit from Egypt was time consuming - for my friends.
They went in the left hand queue and it took quite some time

No help at the checkin to get seated together

I was in 1A
So the lounge and the meal was far better than QF J dom

Currently ensconced in Rydges Sydney Airport
Aiming to be up in 5 hours to swill up at QF Flounge ahead of the 777 landing and departing up in the old F cabin

It’s been a long trip
Only joined QFF when Ansett went under

That was helter skelter so it’s been a Long time in the journey. That said without AFF and the tricks and tips it would still be a long time to go
