Luggage trackers

Any updates for Android users? I don't have any apple devices, but reading this thread, tiles seems problematic.

I have the following all on the one ticket through an Aeroplan award.

The flights I have are:

Tuesday 19.30 JFK to GVA, arrives into GVA on Wednesday at 09.20
Leave that same day (Wed) to CPH on Swiss, arrive into CPH at 20.35
Leave CPH on Thursday at 12.00 on Singapore Airlines bound for SIngapore.

Wondering whether it is worth risking getting luggage checked through all the way from JFK to SIN

Im an Android user and have been using Tile without any issues for a couple of years now.

Apple users like to disparage anything non Apple but I've not ever had any trouble getting a read on where my Tile tagged bags have been.

I use Tile and has worked flawlessly. The latest Tiles have replaceable batteries (although my Tile mates are still going strong after much longer than the 2 years they guarantee).

Yes, Samsung Tags work perfectly for us across multiple countries.
I hear people say their AirTAgs can track their bags at airports, etc. Do Samsung Tags also work like this?
Excuse my naive questions but I have no experience in this area.

We can see that they are at the airport, and when they are close to the baggage carousel if that is what you mean?

Yes. If the bags went to astray could they tell you if they were at a different airport for instance?
Absolutely, you can see them on a map. This is showing my phone location but they are all on the one map and it labels each device/tag.

Depending on position of my bag in the hold can often seek my Tile tagged bags on the plane.

And I was able to know my bags were still at LHR when I was in EDI and also to see same bags being driven around Edinburgh before they arrived at my hotel.

Tags are deleted by bluetooth of a mobile/tablet/smart watch nearby, then the gps location of the device that detected it is displayed on a map.

So it is as accurate as the last device to detect it. Once you are in general area of the item you can use your device to request it play a sound so can find keys etc.
